The BenQ MA range is designed specifically for a seamless and colour-accurate experience with MacBook and MacBook Air. One thing Mac users often struggle with is getting their external monitor to replicate the colours on their Mac screen - the BenQ MA range overcomes this problem, ensuring a unified visual experience between laptop and monitor.
In terms of colour accuracy, these are a very entry-level monitor - a step below their PD range, and not recommended for any professional colour-sensitive work - but, they come with the price tag to match coming in at a very affordable $749 for the 27" screen.
Unlike BenQ's SW and PD range, their MA range doesn't come with factory calibration, hardware calibration software, or BenQ's uniformity technology. This means you will need to purchase a calibrator straight off the bat if you need to do colour-editing work - and note they are only software calibratable (as opposed to hardware calibratable, which is recommended for the best colour accuracy). However, this would be an effective screen for content creation (where accurate colour is not quite so important), word processing and office work, and light gaming.
Attractive to Mac users will be the brightness and volume sync with MacBook controls, and sleek, Mac-like aesthetic and simplified settings. Wide connectivity features 2x USB-C and and a 90W USB-C charging port will ensure your Apple devices can charge while you work.
