Turn-Around Times

Christmas Turnarounds

We'll be closing for our holiday break after Friday 21st of December and we're back open Monday 7th of January.

Christmas Cut-Offs:

To guarantee completion before our Christmas break:

  • Normal sized fine art printing, film scanning and custom profile orders - submit by Friday 14th of December

  • Raw art reproduction orders - submit by Friday 14th of December

  • Ready To Print art reproduction orders - submit by Monday the 3rd of December

We're more than happy to take orders after those dates of course, and will certainly try to turn them around before Christmas if we can, but we do tend to get quite busy during this period, so it's best to get in early to avoid disappointment.

Obviously how quickly these orders then ship (and whether they arrive before the 25th) is not entirely in our hands - so another reason to get your orders in as early as possible, and choosing express post for shipping is always wise at this time of year.

Current Turn-arounds

Current estimates for normal sized jobs only.

  • Printing: 2-3 days
  • Scanning: 2-6 days
  • Art Reproduction: 4-9 days
  • ICC Profiling: 1 day

More Information

Our official estimated turnaround time is approximately 2-3 business days for all normal size jobs not involving retouching work (e.g. 10 prints up to 24" size, 10 film scans, or 3 profiles) - although we always strive to complete jobs as quickly as possible.  As a rule. we try to under-promise and over-deliver.

It is important to note than putting a note in with your order such as 'please have ready for Wednesday' will not actually affect the turnaround speed for your job in general - we have always have a queue of existing orders and promises already made in front of your order, and we work to the order of that queue.

We may also adjust our turnaround times during busy periods or while doing a large edition print run. If you have a large job, then it may take longer than the standard 2-3 days, but we will generally give you an estimated completion time when you make your order.  If your job is VERY large, it is best to contact us first for an estimate and to check we have sufficient materials etc.

You should always factor in at least the full 2-3 days if you're planning to meet a specific deadline at your end.
