New: Ilford Cotton Pearlescent Inkjet Papers

With most pearlescent and metallic papers tending toward glossy or pearl finishes, matt options are quite rare to see. Ilford’s new Cotton Pearlescent Smooth and Cotton Pearlescent Textured papers take a different approach, pairing a matt cotton base with a sparkling shimmer that comes alive under a hard light source. 

With a refined sparkle reminiscent of powdered mica, this effect could be show-stopping with the right subject matter and opens up a range of creative possibilities.

Though clearly a niche paper, we see these bringing wow-factor to fashion and luxury editorial photography, as well as visual dimension to landscape and geographical images.  We also see them elevating wedding stationery with a touch of elegance, and adding some sparkly fun to graphic art like pop art and manga-style illustration.
