Well, it has been a little while since I’ve made a post, so I figure I should get back on the exhibition train and show you some awesome work I caught recently. Once again on a Friday night I find myself at Off the Kerb Gallery, Collingwood for the opening for Stephen Baker, Jodie Goldring and Kate Golding. I FINALLY took along a real camera, my trusty Canon G10, but it still doesn’t say much for my quality of shots as it turns out. Perhaps I should stick with the iPhone and instagram filters?
I really enjoyed Stephen Bakers work, and wish I could have afforded the Axel Rose original…so metal, it hurt. Also like what Kate Golding
did with her artwork, that we printed here at Image Science [Edit by JD – actually, we supplied the printer (Epson 3880), paper (Hahnenuhle Bamboo) and custom profiles to Kate but didn’t actually print this body of work here!], making her photos almost blend in with the wall with a very modern flush mount approach. And Jodie Goldrings furniture was awesome. I can not imagine how long it took her to drill all those holes through that furniture….dedication.
Heads up to all those reading this living in Melbourne, that tonight (Thursday, 22nd September, 2011) there is an amazing opening at 1000 Pound Bend by Just Another Agency that you should get along to. And tomorrow night sees the opening of EGG Gallery in Collingwood, which I just so happen to have 2 works in. So come along and check out some great art!
OK, so, on with the show…

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for your feedback, useful information and advice again.
The colour profiles are great for all our tested photos as compared with manufacturer’s colour profile. Thanks again for your time taken to do the colour profiles for DNP Printers.
