If there is a blue light flashing on your monitor this is the monitor telling you it is due for calibration. Monitors typically need to be re-calibrated after approximately 200 hours. You can calibrate before this period if you feel your monitor has drifted but generally with modern LCDs after every 200 hours is fine.
In the preferences of the ColourNavigator software, you can control whether this indication is used and also set after how many hours you would like to be reminded.
