This fantastic little monitor light has been upgraded in every way on BenQ's previous Screenbar models. It is now highly compatible with most monitor thicknesses, including curved and flat screens, offers a broader illumination area making it compatible with ultra wide displays, and now features an energy-saving ultra-sonic sensor which activates and deactivates the light when you sit down and leave your workspace.  

In essence, this is a sleekly designed lamp that provides ergonomic, eye-safe light to your workspace, takes up no space on your desktop, and due to it's high colour rendering index, is great for colour accurate print assessment.  As these lamps are built to last for 17 years (50,000 hours of light) this is a sound investment in your workspace and eye health.

New Patented Clamp Design

Secure Attachment
The unique structural design of the clamp's rear foot allows it to securely attach to monitors with a bulge on the back, preventing any obstruction to the lifting bracket.

Unblocked Camera Lens
The front edge of the clamp is precisely designed to not obstruct the camera lens while being compatible with ultra-narrow bezel monitors.

Flexible Mounting
The top of the clamp features an asymmetrical sawtooth design for easy mounting onto non-flat structures above the monitor, avoiding interference with the microphone/speaker at the top of the screen.

A Warm Welcome to Your Space: Automatic Lights On as You Sit
Using Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle, similar to self-driving cars, ScreenBar Pro's ultrasonic sensor detects moving objects within a 60±10 cm diameter range in front of the screen, providing a welcoming experience with each seating.

Detection Range
With its ultrasonic sensor positioned 50cm (19.7”) above the desktop, it detects 60±10 cm (23.6±3.9”) in front of the screen. Its conical detection shape has a limited range to avoid unnecessary light activation, e.g., from users walking by.

Adjustable Colour Temperature and Brightness
Research suggests a cool colour temperature of 6,500K improves focus, a neutral colour temperature ranging from 4,900 to 6,500K provides comfort for eyes, and a warm colour temperature of 2,700 to 3,000K enhances relaxation during reading and facilitates better rest afterwards.

ScreenBar Pro features 16 levels of brightness and 8 colour temperature settings that comply with ANSI standards, allowing you to adjust based on different scenarios or moods.

Full-spectrum LED Chip with Rf>96
With a colour spectrum closer to sunlight, ScreenBar Pro’s full-spectrum chips accurately reproduce true colours of objects, enhancing colour rendering and accuracy for superior performance.

Exceeding CRI Color Rendering Standards
CRI, defined by the International Commission on Illumination in 1995, averages the values of 8 colour samples (R1-R8) to determine colour rendering index. Rf, proposed by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America in 2015, averages 99 colour samples (R1-R99) for colour rendering index. Measured across 99 colour samples, ScreenBar Pro boasts colour fidelity with Rf>96 and colour saturation with Rg close to 100.
