Hello,

The Christmas juggernaut is fast approaching, and we're already seeing clients printing like mad as they start preparing for the upcoming market season.

This month, we introduce a new range of TIPA Award-winning inkjet papers from Hahnemühle (which includes a plastic-free, 100% recyclable option), and Jeremy expands into laptop and OLED display technology as he evaluates the powerful MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio laptop.

Be transported to bygone eras as we interview Susannah Low, a visual artist who is passionate about social history and vintage ephemera, and we showcase some serious local talent with painter Sheng Yi Lee's new exhibition, Falling Leaves Return to Roots.

Finally, it's your absolute last chance to claim up to $500 cashback on Epson SureColor P906 and P706 inkjet printers, with this fantastic deal ending in just a few short weeks.

New Hahnemühle Inkjet Papers

We're thrilled to introduce three new TIPA Award winning inkjet papers to the Hahnemühle family.

Joining the classic Photo Rag range we have Photo Rag Matt Baryta, a gorgeous alternative to classic darkroom baryta papers.  This one in particular has attracted a lot of attention as a stunning new option.

For everyday photo and poster printing, we present Hahnemühle Silk Baryta X, a silky gloss paper with the appearance of traditional silver halide paper, and Sustainable Photo Satin, a semi-gloss paper that is 100% recyclable due to it's innovative plastic composite free bio inkjet coating - a great alternative to your current resin coated paper options.  Less plastic is always a good thing!

Available for pre-order now, with limited stocks arriving in early November.

MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio Evaluation

We're getting increasing enquires about OLED and Mini/Micro LED displays.  Whilst there aren't yet any serious colour accurate desktop options, we are seeing screens of interest appear in the laptop domain.

As we're also often asked to recommend the best laptop for professional image making work, we've decided to do a deep dive into a powerful PC laptop - the MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio - with an OLED screen that is ideal for some types of content creation work.

Sheng Yi Lee Exhibition: Falling Leaves Return to Roots

Visual artist Sheng Yi Lee explores themes of identity, belonging, and purpose in her new exhibition, Falling Leaves Return to Roots. Drawing inspiration from her Malaysian-Chinese heritage, Sheng Yi uses allegory and Chinese symbolism to explore her philosophies and to reflect on pivotal life experiences.  Viewers are invited to bring their own interpretations to the work, sharing in the universal human journey of self-discovery and expression.  Don't miss what promises to be a stunning exhibition - now showing at Brunswick Street Gallery until October 20th.

The Wilderness Society: 30 Years of Nature Book Illustration

We were proud to print this gorgeous exhibition for the Wilderness Society celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Environment Award for Children's Literature.   The exhibition features a selection of illustrations from books short-listed over the last three decades for this influential award, showcasing many much-loved Australian illustrators and author-illustrators.

The artworks will be on display from 3-31 October across three locations: The Wheeler Centre, the Moat and Readings State Library Victoria, as part of the Wilderness Society's Nature Book Week.
