Carine Thevenau is a visual art who has made photography her life. Since her first encounter with photography in primary school, Carine has studied at both high school & university levels, worked as a commercial photographer & created her own personal art based practice.
Her most recent project "Seasonal Abandonment of Imaginary Worlds" documents the deserted playgrounds that appear during the winter months in Japan.
The collection of large scale prints are being exhibited as part of the Sydney Design Festival as well as a limited edition book, published through Editions Publishing.
